This is the official call for nominations for the 2018 Women’s Program National Officers. Elections for the National Junior Olympic Committee Chairman (NJOCC), National Xcel Committee Chairman (NXCC) and the National Technical Committee Chairmen (NTCC) are to be conducted in 2018.
Women’s Nominations for National Committee Chair Positions
All nominees must be USA Gymnastics Women’s Program Professional Members in good standing for a minimum of two consecutive years immediately prior to the nomination, be at least 21 years old, and meet the prerequisites in Article V of the Operating Code Sections E, F and G found posted on the USA Gymnastics website, Women’s Program home page. The positions are four (4) year terms 2018-2022.
Please see the attached nomination form that includes eligibility requirements for each position. Nominations are to be sent to Annie Heffernon, the Women’s JO Program Director, at the USA Gymnastics office by March 31, 2018. Please email nominations to [email protected].
National officers shall be elected by the members of their respective committee.
- The voting shall be by written ballot.
- Shall serve for four (4) years
Fall Compulsory Meet Requests Due By March 1
We are now taking requests from clubs interested in hosting a compulsory qualifier next fall. You must send in 3 weekend choices in rank order of preference. Requests must be emailed to [email protected] before March 1, 2018.
We also want to remind everyone that you may offer Xcel levels at the compulsory qualifiers this fall if you would like. This was included in the Minutes from the last Administrative Committee meeting on 12/2/17.
2019 Regional Training Camp Information
Registration for all 3 of Region 4’s Training Camps and the College Showcase will begin at 8AM on July 15th. Please see the attached file for information on the camps.
Important – athletes will be considered registered when the on-line reservation is completed AND the hard copy registration, including priority level, and payment are received. Athletes will be accepted based on priority and by date that they are received. Priority 1 & 2 athletes have until August 14th to claim their priority spot. If they are registered after that date, they are not guaranteed a space.

Congratulations to Greg Lafleur!
Contributor of the Year-Lifetime Achievement
We would like to congratulate Greg Lafleur as our Contributor of the Year- Lifetime Achievement.Greg LaFleur has dedicated a lifetime to the sport of gymnastics. His family was recognized at the 2011 USA Gymnastics Business Conference for their extraordinary accomplishments, contributions, and commitment to the sport of gymnastics.Greg has generously volunteered many hours to our state of Wisconsin, Region 4, and USA Gymnastics. He served on the State Board, the National Elite Program Committee, has been a clinician at Region 4 Congress and National Congress. He has also been voted Wisconsin Coach of the Year multiple times for both the boys and girls. Greg has helped many gymnasts receive college scholarships and win National, and even International titles; including winning gold at the Jr. Pan Am games. But what stands out more than Greg’s accomplishments, is his kindness, generosity and lasting impressions he has on his gymnasts and coaching colleagues.Thank you Greg for all you have done for the sport of gymnastics in Wisconsin!
